Working with children requires more time and consideration because you have to also work with parents, and sometimes, the family. This also means that in some cases there needs to be some coordination with the child's teachers. It is important for the parents to know that their involvement is essential to the success of treatment.
We love the challenge of working with clients on tough problems and welcome most problems. Of course, we also know our limitations and know when a more specifically experienced professional should be contacted. We have many resources which we will be happy to provide if we deem it best for you, our client.
One of the toughest decision you have to make is that you may need help. I personally believe that is a sign of strength and humility. We were not designed to live this life without the help nd love of others. So, give yourself credit for looking into ways to improve your own well-being, knowing that is the first step to changing the way you think, so you can change the way you feel..Earl R.
